Kate Burnside is a dedicated and knowledgeable Realtor® with Portfolio Properties on Martha’s Vineyard, bringing a unique blend of personal experience, sales expertise, and a deep appreciation for Martha’s Vineyard lifestyle.

Originally from Northeast Pennsylvania, Kate first discovered Martha’s Vineyard in 1988  and since then has been captivated by the island’s charm and sense of community. Kate established full-time residency in Edgartown and proudly calls the Vineyard home.

Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from the University of Lynchburg and brings a strong professional background in sales, sales management, and training across the telecommunications, pharmaceutical, insurance, and banking industries. This breadth of experience has honed her skills in negotiation, communication, and client service—qualities that greatly benefit her real estate clients.

Specializing in residential, condominium, multi-family, land, and commercial properties, Kate serves buyers and sellers alike on Martha’s Vineyard but serves all of Massachusetts. Her clients value her integrity, attention to detail, and local insight, along with her sincere dedication to helping them achieve their real estate goals.

Beyond real estate, Kate is actively involved in the Vineyard community. She is a member of the Martha’s Vineyard Chamber of Commerce, Martha’s Vineyard Garden Club and volunteers with Vineyard Conservation Society. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her sons, skiing, and traveling.
