John C. Ross (J.R.)

J.R. has frequented the Vineyard for many years, following good friends who made the Island their home. After living in Texas, New York, Illinois, Arizona, Switzerland, Germany and Italy, he made the decision, with his husband Simon, to begin planting some roots here, building a house in West Tisbury 10 years ago, and making the move to become a full time MV resident, intently getting to know this Island, and all its treasures. He is especially a connoisseur of the Island’s beaches and walking/biking trails.
